About Me!

Michael Carlos is a multi-hyphenate artist and teacher based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

A classically trained singer, Meisner actor, and clarinetist who recently resumed training as a dancer after an extended hiatus. Michael fell in love with performing at the age of three after watching The Sound of Music and has done so in various capacities ever since.

In 2024, he completed a two-year professional acting program at Empowerhouse Acting Studio, where he studied the Meisner Technique under Melissa Thompson Esaia. Michael currently dances Modern Dance with Robin Nasatir at Shawl-Anderson Dance Center and sings with Cheryl Keller at the Keller Voice Studio, which specializes in classical vocal technique.

When he is not working on his craft and filling his artistic well as a performer, Michael works as an academic support specialist at Black Pine Circle School, where he also doubles as the seventh-grade drama teacher.

He earned his undergraduate degree with honors in Spanish, Education, and Public Health Sciences from the University of California, Davis.
