About Me!
Michael Carlos is a multidisciplinary artist and academic coach based in the San Francisco Bay Area, represented by Models Inc.
A classically trained vocalist, Meisner-trained actor, and multi-instrumentalist, Michael fell in love with performing at the age of three after watching The Sound of Music and has been on stage and in front of the camera ever since.
In 2024, he completed a two-year professional acting program at Empowerhouse Acting Studio, studying the Meisner Technique under Melissa Thompson Esaia, alongside improv training at Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
Michael’s performance work spans theater, film, and medical acting as a standardized patient. On stage and in the studio, he is a multi-instrumentalist (clarinet, piano, saxophone) and solo vocalist studying classical technique with Cheryl Keller at Keller Voice Studio.
After an extended hiatus, he also returned to movement, training in Modern Dance with Robin Nasatir at Shawl-Anderson Dance Center.
When not on set, in rehearsal, or training, Michael works as an academic and executive functioning coach, independent tutor, and former classroom drama and culinary arts teacher. He graduated with honors as a Regents Scholar from the University of California, Davis, earning his degree in Spanish, Education, and Public Health Sciences.
